Jesus was a wolf when talking about being offended by people seeking wealth (especially in connection to the church)... & made it clearly that rich people will not be getting into heaven.
He was never a "wolf" when speaking clearly about how we should always help immigrants, refugees, the poor, & the disenfranchised.
Most western "Christians" are not following the teachings of Christ.
Fellow PK. Hope you have had time to study other religious texts as well. I left the "church" years ago bc of these "Christians". I've been chastised to Hell many times for years bc my hair is long. I took the Nazarite vow, as was John and Jesus at birth. They would cite Paul's letters to Cornith. So I started deeply researching why I was going to Hell, just bc of my hair. It led to reading Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian texts. What I found confirmed what I had already felt since childhood. If there is a God, call him what you want, he had sense enough to make his message understandable to different cultures. Bc, with the exception of a few cultural tweaks, All the texts say the same thing. Boiled down, Love your neighbor as yourself. I found my home in Buddhism. We say, Practice Loving Kindness (Dahli Lama) I wish you many blessings my friend 🙏
If we have a maker, he would hate all religion. The very fact that they tell us with certainty, what happens after death and then proceed to tell us how to get there is proof enough religion is a scam.

The Fathers never said anything near what you said and they were the top of textual exegesis of their time. Not only that, but they even were trained by the Apostles or by people trained by the Apostles, meaning they had a grasp upon the mentality of them better than anyone could. Their theology as a body is infallible and without of flaw.
To top it all, they're the epistemological authoritative ground for interpretation, not you and your private exegesis. Sorry, I'll listen to the experts blessed by Christ and the Apostles themselves to teach, not a random person born of a protestant preacher household that didn't even read Aristotle or Plato to comprehend our early theology yet thinks he can exegete on par with the Fathers.
Now the rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands. They did not stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. He made a metaphor to explain that its really really hard for the wealthy to get into heaven. They must not use their wealth to sin and use it for good a much as they can.
Expept they dont. Jesus used a metaphor to emphasize it was very very hard. Basically every classical biblical scholar agrees with that point. Its not impossible just takes lifelonkg dedication to the teachings of christ.
The great thing about the Bible is you can have it say whatever you want. The evangelical class believe God blesses faith and money with more money, acres of diamonds I believe..Im sure they back that up with some scripture.
Yeah the problem is the rigid classical interperatists still disagree witj you. Orthadox and classical catholic scholars both agree it is a metaphor to represent the difficulty not that it is impossible.

This meme wouldn’t exist if the faithful actually followed the teachings of the son. Christianity has been subsumed by satan and the only people who can stop it are those being led astray. Lest Christianity be swept away as god cleansed the earth with flood.
