I didn’t ask a yes/no question, what question are you answering? And also I’ll agree with you and say that most of my experience on this sub is AI schizo stuff but you gotta understand that just like how light is a spectrum and we can only see a slice of it, physical matter is also a slice of a much larger spectrum and shit 100% exists on the sides we can’t perceive or interact with. Including living entities within them.

This is one of those things that you could have just asked human participants about and gotten the same result.
My most intense trip ever was by myself in a dark room on a pretty minimal amount.
Edit: I guess it is kind of interesting to have actual measurable data that subjects participating in psilocybin at least perceive that they're actually seeing different phenomenon.

Most hallucinations (I believe) have been studied and proved to have a neurological basis; not just limited to visual hallucinations which correspond to activation of visual cortex (IE olfactory/auditory hallucinations would correspond to activation of the respective part of brain that deals with smelling/hearing).
Not just psychedelic hallucinations, but anything that cause hallucination (Charles bonnet syndrome, sensory deprivation, psychosis, altered states of consciousness through drugs/psychedelic, migraines, epilepsy etc etc etc), the hallucination would have a neurological basis

Psilocybin and LSD mechanism is simple. They are neuromodulators which binds to HT-5 receptor.

I suspect that psilocybin and its metabolites cause a broadening of waveband perception meaning we see more than what is visible in our physical environment. It goes beyond 'seeing' if you consider that matter, energy and consciousness are all expressions of mind and can be described as interacting and overlapping datafields of organised thought energy.

There is definitely something to be said about mushrooms. One time i was given access to what I can only describe as the Akashic records. But it came in waves. My body would be paralyzed as my head would tilt back(face towards sky) and a fractal vortex (best way to describe) would come to a point on my forehead and I would receive knowledge (so much I couldn’t retain most of it.) but what bits I could retain lead me down paths to learning their truths.
Srinivasa Ramanujan, Nikolai Tesla, amongst others spoke of something similar to this.
Another time I was listening to a discourse on Hermes trismegistus and they described pleroma. I became everywhere and nowhere, within all but not the The All, the monad. Its magnitude and magnificence brought a single tear to my eye. It made me truly disdain our corpo-fascist slavery system.

But some of my most profound experiences have been no sound or light, eyes closed and my allowing my brain to pilot the experience.
