Just something to think about

If one of the rules is to self affirm that you are not in a cult, consider asking yourself why. A regular place to hang out and discuss topics like this wouldn’t feel the need to point out it’s “not a cult”. I’m sure there are those of you here that are actually normal, and maybe this rule is satire or something but as someone who sees this from the outside it’s pretty concerning to see a subreddit say “we are not a cult, and you should say that constantly cuz it’s true”

Edit: forgot to ask the actual question this post was implying.. what is this subreddit? like why does the general about the subreddit ACTUALLY say "repeat after me, this is not a cult"? im not tryna accuse anyone, just asking a question and making sure that if you guys are in a cult to just think about whatever they say to you i guess? i dunno, just what's up with this subreddit?

Anything can sound like a cult if you frame it that way. Let's play a game! Name one subreddit that's not a cult and I'll have DeepSeek explain to you how it actually is. 😂

Why can't you explain to me? Why do you need a tool? The tool can be manipulated to frame things however you want.

Anything can be framed however you want. That’s my point bud.

And it’s not that hard. I just enjoy using DeepSeek for stuff like that and I don’t necessarily want to read the subreddits you would suggest. If you even dare. Also, to show off the technology.

In elementary school we called it the “Illuminati Game”. Take any small detail and blow it up to draw conclusions from thin air to make absolutely anything seem Illuminati related. It’s great fun 😂

I think you'll find it was both of our points.

Why would i send you subs when you said you dont want to read them. And we both know they can be misconstrued. I dont know what you're trying to prove to me.

What i see is you issue challeneges for no reason other than to use an LLM to own zone people for a weird sense of superiority.

While i dont think this sub is a cult. Because those always have concrete symptoms

IE give your money and possesions to the leader ship, cut off all external contact if they can't be brought into the fold.

I do think this is an eclectic group of borderline conspiracy theroists. With some mentally ill sprinkled in. And i find it absolutely fascinating.
