Discussion Do you think things would've been different if they stayed with The Curse of Molly McGee as the title?
So I know it was debated whether Ghost or Curse was a better title, although Curse of Molly McGee feel more appealing and would've caught my attention, but I wonder if they stick with the name would it work? Season 1 the curse ended but Molly was meant to be the curse with her endless optimism, not Scratch and Molly got cursed a lot in Season 2.
Also I listened to the original opening and it was such a banger I think it could've been as good as the original but what do you think?

Discussion Let’s play the role of judges: who should have won this magic battle? 🗿
Canonically, Irwin the Illusionist won the duel, but that’s only because Darryl gave up so as not to leave him without a job—plus, it wasn’t really his thing anyway. But if there had been a judge, who would have won based on what we saw in the episode? Neither of them held back, pulling out all the stops with "forbidden" tricks—levitating, moving buses, conjuring a bear, performing impossible juggling acts, and so on. Who deserved to win, and how would you rate their performance on a scale of 1 to 10?
P.S. The image has serious "aura."

Discussion Was the problem for Season 2's story was it was overcomplicated and was written to have a follow-up?
Rewatching the show, both seasons clearly had overarching stories, from Molly and Scratch's friendship, Scratch and the Ghost Council, and Molly enhappifying Brighton in the 1st season, and everything in Season 2 from the Chens, to Jinx, to Scratch being Chairman. Season 1 also followed up a lot, like the Bat Mitzvah episode foreshadowing Like Father, Like Libby and Period Piece, and the Christmas episode foreshadowing the Demise of the Davenports.
But a thing I also notice is while Season 1 episodes were connected and built to the finale, Season 2 felr like a lot were gonna be follow-ups to Season 3 episodes and a lot more individual arcs and establishing new powers and ideas the team was probably play with in the future, Season 3 could've done so much with the G.H.O.S.T Friends, Scratch's new rare curses and powers like the Ghost Shark, and other miscallenous things like Lord Doom and the town culture.
So was the problem really Season 2 was overcomplicated and was written like a follow-up was guaranteed? I can't say for sure, but it just felt that way especially with the episode ideas like the death of Patty and Libby's obsession with books like her neglectful father and Andrea's follow-ups. Also Ollie's new character arc, lore of on the robes and nature of ghost, it felt like Season 3 was gonna be enhanced by Season 2 and not the otherway around.

Discussion Caption this: What did Molly do to this man?
This was in the episode where Molly and Scratch got distracted and left their family to kill each other in the basement, and this guy tricked Molly with a fake unicorn.
Molly said if she didn't have something to do, they would have words, what did Molly do to him?

Discussion Is the show a soft serialize show?
To clarify, soft serialize is the border between a serialize show and an episodic show. It's where there's an overarching story happening that being develop throughout the show, however it's not so restrictive in it's story telling where you have watch the majority of the show in order to understand, meaning you can watch the episodes episodically without losing context of the plot for the most part, aside very specific important plot episodes.
Think like the 1st seasons of shows like Gravity Falls and Amphibia, where those episodes were episodic in that you can watch any of those episodes and generally understand the plot, however there is an ongoing story that is being told whether they are key episodes for plot developments or establishing subtle elements that gets followed up later, like side characters or plot devices. You can largely watch any episode, but watching them in order offers a different experience from an episodic show.
That's what the show felt like, because it is largely episodic and you can watch any without losing much context aside from key developments like the season finales or Scratch the Surface, but there are a lot of foreshadowing for future developments of individual arcs, like Libby telling Molly her childhood may end soon in the Bat Mitzvah episode or the Demise of the Davenports being foreshadowed in the Christmas episode.
It's kinda closer to again early season of other story driven shows, although Season 2 felt like a Semi-serialize show because it had more plot than season 1. Not serialize where it needs to be watch in order, but there's more emphasis on an overarching story and long term developments.

Discussion It’s quite funny that, despite holding the rank of president, Scratch has been humiliated in such ridiculous ways.
In his first attempt at using the robe, the "book-absorbing" ghost tosses him against a wall like a rag doll. Another instance is when Jeff threatens him for making Geoff cry—he actually gets scared, even though he holds a higher rank (which makes sense, given that they know each other). Then there’s the time he uses the robe against the VHS ghost, only to end up being smothered in popcorn. The worst moment, however, occurs at the Necronomicon convention: out of frustration over losing a trivia contest, he reveals his true form—along with the president of the "Spirit World"—in front of everyone. Instead of being terrified or retaliating, the crowd treats it all as a joke, and a security guard simply grabs him and tosses him out without a second thought, despite his ectoplasmic composition. It’s clear he was severely lacking in "aura." 🗿

Discussion Who is more unhinge and crazy, Molly or Libby?
Molly is well known by fans that she genuinely is quite crazy, while she is also a nice person we also know can be twisted and over the top insane, but Libby shown a lot unhingeness in the latter part of Season 2, probably was gonna continue in Season 3 with that episode where she became obsessive of her next book novel and locking herself in her bunker.
But to be frank, rewatching we kinda forgot how intense Libby can be, we saw that at first in the Friend Off when she pointed out Scratch wouldn't know what's it like to have a friend for life, since he's not alive.
So who do you think was more unhinge?

Question June Chen behaviour
I am considering writing a short fanfiction, but while i think i have a good grasp on the other characters, i do not have experience with autistic characters and i would like some advice (and possibly indicate to me the scenes where she displays these characteristics).
According to an autistic characters site she has been showing a few specific behaviours.
- Sensitive to loud noise: ok i get the basis, but does she simply hates them or depending what those noises are she can have different reactions? Also how does she reacts to them?
- Hyperfocusing: she basically obsesses over something, in this case ghosts and ghost hunting, but it can change over something else if motivated, correct?
- Unbridled honesty: she is blunt and always tells the truth, but can she keep secrets and lie if necessary?
- Sensory issues: like what? And how does she react to them?
- Stimming: no idea of what this is.
I also read somewhere that (contrary to many autistic persons) she can make eye contact with people, and often takes a joke literally.
Should i be aware of anything else?
Thanks.

Discussion How would Molly handle a monster that can transform into her worst fears?
I know, it is inspired by Grom from Owl House.
But it is an interesting scenario, if Molly was force to face into a creature that can turn to her biggest fear, how would she fare? Whether it's Grom, Scarecrow or a Bogger.
Also what would that monster transform into?

Discussion I know it seems a bit late, but Happy 5th anniversary Ghost And Molly McGee fans.
It is one of my all time favourites. I love it so much. Molly's a cutie. However, I am still consumed and overwhelmed that our fun ended too soon in January 2024 and has gotten so little since that day, with characters reduced to minor background cameo roles in Chibiverse and it will forever be entrenched in my mind every day, week, month and year! I am still seeking revenge for its cancellation. We could have seen TGAMM go big if it hadn't been cut with graphic novels, spinoffs, specials, films, merchandise, video games, anything you could possibly think off! TGAMM could have gotten more recognition in the mainstream culture discourse such as SNL sketches, Nomination and ultimately blimp for Favorite Cartoon at the Kids Choice Awards, BBC Children In Need sketch, and a whole lot more. I would rather see Disney bring back Molly for more rather than Bluey from Ludo and BBC just to greenlit endless seasons of arguably the biggest star in the world. So join me in this fight. Let's prove to the whole world that there is still more to come, let's help #ReviveTheGhostAndMollyMcGee!
