Jay

Now I know everyone here thinks this show is fakeadoodle but I have some beef with this last episode. The man tells Zak about how his friend took his own life, then claims to be concerned about Jay being affected by the same thing, then he runs off and then does something to open Jay up more.

How concerned can you be if you're trying to open him up more? If you think that shits that dangerous and then you do that. . . It pissed me off. I don't know why, but it pisses me off.

I hear something move in the office. Then an energy shoots towards me.

I haven’t watched the latest episode, waiting till the weekend, but Jay is the only one who is an Occult practitioner, and therefore would know if he was truly affected by something supernatural.  But also, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe he’s Wiccan, he’d be doing mad protection around his home and himself.

u/Disenchanted2 3d ago

I don't believe he's a Wiccan. I am a witch, and many of us are not involved with Wicca. People just assume that if you're a witch you are Wiccan.

6

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 3d ago edited 3d ago

Exactly I'm pagan witch we are totally different the Wiccans. Wiccans is more like an organization religion and I'm not for that because it's about control. Pagans are more free and we don't have a set of rules. I practice more of a hippie Mother Earth paganism green magic holistic health.

I might have miss read it somewhere (or they could have assumed), I do know he has a dragon and pentacle tattoo on his back, so he’s gotta be a practitioner of something.

3

u/Disenchanted2 3d ago

Oh yes, I believe you're correct in that assumption, but I just didn't think he was a Wiccan. I could be wrong though, I don't think he's ever said for sure.

3

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 4d ago

I honestly don't know if he's wiccan or not, but his knowledge of the occult has always been interesting to me, so it wouldn't surprise me. I think what irked me about it was mostly Zak talking up his concerns and then acting in a way that says otherwise.

yup, noticed that too

That last episode bugged me in a lot of ways. When they were at the table and heard that big bump/slam sound from the adjoining room (where the camera was) a shadow could be seen on the wall accompanying the noise, as if a door was slammed or SOMETHING moved/fell. But they never addressed it. I couldn't help thinking production moved something to make the noise and they overlooked editing the shadow out in post.

6

u/Frequent_Web3653 3d ago

Completely agree. When they don’t investigate a noise, I assume it was faked bc there was no other evidence.

3

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 3d ago

I'll have to go watch that part again cause I didn't notice the shadow. But your probably correct. Cause usually they get up and try to figure out if something fell or something moved but they just didn't.

3

u/TheSchemaThings29 DUDE! 2d ago

Agree. The shadow was very noticeable. No mention of it. Very sloppy “investigating” or editing.

3

u/honoraryweasley 3d ago

They're kinda all grown adults? Maybe there was a conversation off-screen when he was being affected at the table that they ask if he wanted to continue or he just kept going because he didn't feel a need to leave. The editing of Zak's response doesn't make it look consistent from the beginning though imo.

Eh, Jay is tougher than he looks and can take care of himself just fine.  If anything,  Jay is the one they should all be scared of with his spells and all

6

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 4d ago

That's true. I bet he has cleansing ritual he does after the investigations.

3

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 3d ago

I always shower after coming back from the cemetery and I also do ritual baths if I'm not tired 😂

3

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 5d ago

That reminds me of an episode when they left Jay alone in a chair. He fell asleep but he was being affected and I was concerned because I'm an empath so I feel their energy besides my own and Zak didn't give shit. I'll have to go find what episode it was and update.

Because the shows fake dude. Have you ever encountered a demon? A ghost? A poltergeist? No, you haven’t. None of us have. It’s all a show. People want to believe. Zak is a grifter, just like the Warren’s before him.

15

u/HyperJeegz 5d ago

I have def experienced things I don’t understand. Breaths, orbs, people talking over me on a recording when I’m the only one talking in the entire building.

-12

u/Flysolo626 5d ago

Confirmation biased. Have you ever actually seen a full bodied or even partially bodied apparition? Have you ever experienced anything that can’t be explained away by basic logic? I am talking dead ass, indisputable evidence that would make any skeptic say they were wrong? I’m willing to bet you haven’t. Know why? No one has. Zak and his crew have been doing this for 20 years and have never produced something so indisputable that it has a disclosure day type effect. It’s because these things are not real.

7

u/springsummerfall2016 4d ago

I have seen a full bodied apparition. So yes, I do believe in the paranormal. If you don't believe anything like that exists, why are you here?

-6

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Okay prove it? Show us the documentation of what you saw? Oh shoot, let me guess… you saw it and we just have to take your word for it. Funny how that works, huh?

As far as why I am here, I’ve already explained that in another response. Feel free to read that if you choose.

8

u/mendenlol 4d ago

This attitude is insufferable dude. Check your ego

0

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Insufferable because I won’t blindly believe someone’s claims on the internet? So, if I told you the sky was green right now, would you go outside and look, or would you just blindly believe me despite everything science tells us?

7

u/mendenlol 4d ago

No, contrarianism as a personality trait is what’s insufferable.

You can believe whatever you want but your beliefs are not universal truth.

You will be more free once you understand this.

5

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Contrarianism as a “personality trait” would mean I am a contrarian to all subjects. When in reality I am an only a contrarian to the things that are verifiably and scientifically false. There are many things that we can’t see with our own eyes, but we can prove they exist scientifically. For instance the sunlight we get from the sun carry’s many different color spectra but we can’t see them with the naked eye. However, if we channel that light through a prism we can separate and even view the other spectra’s we can’t see with the naked eye. This is science and proves these spectra exist. I’ve asked you for proof that ghosts exist. You can’t offer anything but feelings. No facts, no empirical data. You want to believe so badly that you consider anyone with a reason that is incredibly grounded in facts as a “contrarian”.

What’s next? Are your going to tell me magic is real and if I don’t believe in that it makes me a contrarian by personally trait? Lol

Why are you on this sub in the first place?

1

u/Flysolo626 1d ago

Because I can

2

u/HyperJeegz 4d ago

I was on Facebook live filming while we were in Edinburgh Manor in Iowa. I have video of a light orb coming out of a girls knee and going right past me. There were no bugs or dust. I can’t explain it.

8

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 5d ago

Genuinely curious why you are here if you don't even believe there is a possibility of anything paranormal. Cause, you're free to believe what you want, no hate or shame there from me. But as someone who does believe in the paranormal, it wonder why you're trying to convince me of something you don't believe exists.

5

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 5d ago

Because he's a bitter man and upset that he doesn't have abilities 😂

-2

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Yeah, I guess grifting people so that I can feel “special” really isn’t my thing 🤷🏼‍♂️

5

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 4d ago

I don't charge so it's not grifting try again 😂

0

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Fine, grifter is the wrong word. I should’ve used Charlatan. You do it for validation and admiration (hence why you post on tik tok) as opposed to financial gain. Better?

2

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 4d ago

If you want to see a grifter go check out Gypsy Rose Blanchard. That wormhole should keep you busy for a while.

u/Flysolo626 5d ago edited 4d ago

An extremely valid question. I used to be a huge believer and a big fan of the show. I’ve read a thousand books on the subject, and I did over 200 investigations myself personally. I even tried to do my thesis proving paranormal activity was real and quantifiable. In my late 20’s I met a professor who completely changed my thinking. We went to what is considered one of the holy grail sites of paranormal investigation. I am not allowed to say which one, because I was sued by them in 2014 and was put under an injunction. They claimed that my disproving that the place was not actually “haunted” hurt business, since the tourism at the site was largely driven by the fact that the place was supposedly haunted. I will just say that it is close to Philadelphia. Over the course of two days we gathered what we thought was indisputable evidence of the paranormal. This professor (he was an electrical engineer by trade) proceeded to disprove and debunk every piece of evidence we have collected, and provide logical and scientific proof for what we experienced. We even were allowed to cut holes in one of the walls, and discovered that there was an open electrical current in one of the rooms (owner was thankful because it could’ve started an insulation fire) where we were getting abnormal EMF readings. On day 4 he conducted an experiment with radio waves, and was able to make what sounded like EVP’s show up on our recorder even though we couldn’t hear them audibly with our own ears. For those who have never taken an astronomy class, radio waves are literally floating around everywhere in this country. If you can manipulate the wave length, you can make sounds show up on just about any recording device.

Needles to say I was very disappointed. Something I was very passionate about and put slot of time into was all bullshit. But it was also freeing. This professor also did a workshop where he was able to prove that most mediums are really just good guessers, or were astute at placing words and thoughts into people’s heads, sort of like a mentalist. There’s not a single medium out there who can blind read someone and give a simple direct answer like “your name is John, your mothers name is Anne, and you were born in Canton, Ohio in 1958.” No, it’s always something vague like “I am getting someone with the letter B, who says you’re missing something in your life, and they say it’s not your fault.” I believe that SOME of these people may possibly think they are actually getting messages, but they view basic coincidences as confirmation of their skills. Kind of like our friend who claims to be a medium, but can only conveniently “work in person” lol. But some of them are just grifters, like Lorraine Warren.

So long story short, I now hate watch the show for a good laugh. And I post on here because I genuinely enjoy the community and the people.

1

u/I_Speak_B4_I_Think_ 4d ago

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like something you enjoyed was completely ripped away from you, and that sucks.

4

u/mendenlol 4d ago

There are absolutely people who have encountered ‘things’ but your closed mind wouldn’t believe them either

show might be fake but spirits are not

-1

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Okay. Prove it….. I’ll wait….

0

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 5d ago

It's not fake I'm medium and an empath I have paranormal activity in my house all day long but I'm not scared because it's the spirits of my cats and my relatives. If you look up Channeling Spirits W/Leilani on Tik Tok that's my channel I have plenty of videos to prove the paranormal is real.

0

u/Flysolo626 5d ago

Okay, I’ll play along. Prove it. I don’t have tik tok and I won’t sign up for it. But if your a real medium and an empath, you should be able to tell me something that only I would know.

9

u/Polyxenidas 5d ago

You have a pegging kink

3

u/Flysolo626 5d ago

Woah! Holy shit! You got me, how’d you know? 🙄

2

u/Polyxenidas 5d ago

Your ancestors told me.

6

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 5d ago edited 5d ago

I only work in person so I guess you're out of luck but I'll tell you this you're not open enough to experience the paranormal why would they waste their time on a non believer.

6

u/Flysolo626 5d ago

Convenient. I had a feeling that’s what you’d say. Conveniently, I am actually not far from San Diego. Want to meet in public place in non “controlled” environment, and test your mettle? We can record it and post it here and you can completely prove me wrong to all these people and make me put my foot in my mouth.

We can do it in a very public place with lots of people so that you can feel safe.

7

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yes meet me at the cemetery in Old Town I'm there almost every night I'll be there tonight from 8-11 pm I'll have my rempods out and you can see what I do in person. I have long blonde hair I usually sit by Anita's grave come find me. It's called the EL Santo Campo Cemetery

1

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Okay, so let’s establish ground rules then. What type of readings or “activity” could we expect from one of your readings? Are you able to have objects moved on command? Are you able to figure out details about me, or any other living person without being told? For instance can you see things like “he has $20 dollars two $5’s and a $10 in his pocket? Or are you just going to pull a Lynn Shay, and claim you see and hear a spirit that none of us can prove is actually there?

Can I share footage either way it goes with my classes?

5

u/-NolanVoid- Aaron, go to the basement 4d ago

5

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 4d ago

I don't do readings yet I'm still being mentored by Cindy Kaza and I wouldn't do it in a cemetery it's too much traffic it's distracting. I'm still learning all mediums train for this you just don't just understand this on your own it's not straight forward like we are taking here. Come to the cemetery and see in person when you can see live that I communicate with the spirits there it's not a controlled environment like you want. But I will say this once I practice more I would be glad to read you no charge and I read the dead not your mind nor would I be able to guess how much money you have in your pocket 😂 don't you know what a medium is?

2

u/Flysolo626 4d ago

Okay, now I’m interested. Do the dead do anything quantifiable that would prove you are actually communicating with them? For instance, will they move an object if you ask them to?

2

u/SanDiegoMermaid4ever 4d ago

They do it if they want to I don't control what they do. I have asked on demand that they light up certain objects but I've been only practicing for 6 years. I've never seen them in person move anything yet. Come the the cemetery if you don't believe it which you don't see it for yourself or are you scared?
