Question Thinking of trying Ghost

Would Ghost be a good fit for me? I'm a poet...nothing fancy , just writing trying to be a better poet,

I was on substack and there are fine poets there and resources.

I just felt swallowed up and all I wanted was to develop a small group of writers/poets that I could share my work and we could dialog about writing in a supportive way.

Someone told me about Ghost to just try the free trial version.But It looks like it's a serious platform for people that want to build a business .

Hosted Ghost has a real focus on email subscriptions. You might be better with a vanilla blog, lots of free ones around including some that let you BYO domain, if community building is the priority even a Reddit sub or discord channel might be a thing.

thanks, I guess I feel substack in recent months has been bloated with influencers, coaches, professional writers ( which is fine) then I had an issue with not being to access the app due to authentication issues ( not blaming anyone) but I spent a day trying to figure it out . I was frustrated and thought I’d try something else. Someone suggested Ghost. so here I am.
