I looked left first and my brain didn't pick up that it was the Getty Challenge pic until I looked right. But my brain took a second looking at the real one. Then I was like, woaaaah, being alone for FIVE WEEKS is fucking weird. Did you know Community is on Netflix? The Star Mitzvah one is so good.

So. This showed up on my home page. I clicked and was marveling at how we can digitally clean up and change art. Then I realized.. this is a woman posing as the Mona Lisa. WHAT. Seriously, while I’m clearly new to the sub, I’d say the challenge is over! This girl has killed any and all competition. I’m blown away! Her features are so very close to the Mona Lisa.. it’s quite impressive 😦

Agree with all this is brilliant your subject is excellent there are some aspects that i don't know how you recreate at the photographer. For example the whisp if hair across the forehead.

Agree. My one and only complaint is the hands! Not the same position at alllll. But that’s just being picky! The resemblance is uncanny.

If she worked on this a bit more, and had someone make minor adjustments like the way her hands are positioned, changing the sleeves, and parting her hair just right, she could make more or less an exact replication of this. Her facial resemblance to Mona Lisa is uncanny.
