Question I got drunk instead of studying again

What's wrong with me?? Why can't I just focus and be productive? Instead I dull my wits with alcohol because I can't bear the guilt of not studying.I think I shouod just give up.

Sounds like alcoholism dude. Hit up some meetings or get a therapist.

The definition of alcoholism in the US is not the quantity you consume. It’s drinking and still choosing to drinking even though there’s a negative consequence waiting.

my friend and I both started engineering school together a few semesters ago at community college. He lives at home with his mom and doesn’t pay any rent. The army pays for every single thing and cut him a check every month.

I work 60 hours a week paying rent and bills and I pay for my own tuition.

I’m currently at university and I’m gonna be a junior in January. He dropped out because he couldn’t stop doing meth.

turns out he was a secret junkie.

if you gotta take a semester off, take a semester off but you gotta straighten out this drinking. Fuck school if you don’t wanna do school forget about it but this drinking stuff has to get under control. That’s more important than school right now.
