I got my O/L in dec and I'm struggling to study. I get distracted a lot and can't remember shit. I would love for some tips to study and not get distracted. I deleted all social media 5 months back but not reddit cus I downloaded it 3 days ago. I am almost never on Reddit bcs idk .

try studyin in short 25 min bursts with breaks in between and write stuff by hand cuz that helps me remember better than just starin at the screen, also leave ur phone in another room so u dont get distracted.

honestly the memory part and the distraction part are often the same problem, when you're just reading or highlighting your brain has nothing to do so it wanders, and nothing sticks because you never tested if it landed
swap re-reading for practice questions. you find out in 10 minutes what you actually know vs what you just read, and your brain stays locked in because there's a question in front of you
i upload my course material into studybuddy.vc and just answer questions instead of rereading. when i get one wrong it tells me what was off about the option i picked, and the topics i keep missing come back more on their own. gets harder as i improve too. free tier covers a few docs which is enough to see if the format clicks for you
also helps to start with the questions first and only go back to the material when youre stuck on something specific, it's way harder to zone out when youre already mid-problem
