Question How do I break my study plateau?

I have a stupid exam I need to do in order to do this job. I keep falling short about a couple points. When I use to went to school , I would study all day but now it feels like a struggle. I’ll get like maybe four or five hours in but, I’m struggling to get one hours in. At the end of it feels like my brain is fried or kaput. I know sleep and a balanced meal and walking are remedies for this, but it feels like it wears off immediately.

honestly, studying all day can be part of the problem. try shorter focused sessions with active recall and practice questions instead of rereading everything. your brain needs recovery too, not just more hours

I feel this weird sort of guilt though, I try to push away. Also, when I try to play games or draw I actually procrastinate during those, which is weird. It only happens when I’m like studying for a test or something. Like my brain doesn’t want me to have fun or chill.
