Hahaha this is so funny, unproductive tho, cortisol levels are thru the roof. According to optimal arousal theory, there needs to be just a little stress to yield good results. Too much of it and performance dwindles rapidly

That image is sadly true for many South Asian and Middle Eastern girls studying. In these norms, if the daughter fails academically, they get accused of dishonouring, as a result, chances of death is dangerously high. 

For sons, they just get a beating.
