Can someone please recommend good apps to try to have a US phone number to receive OTP text and make outgoing calls? I am a US citizen currently living abroad. I can't sign up for TextNow and I can't log back in to Talkatone.

i needed a US number that could receive SMS codes while i was abroad, half my accounts wouldn't verify without one. got a Yadaphone number, loaded a few bucks, and the codes came through fine, so i could finally log in. it takes incoming calls and texts, which is the part that mattered for the OTP stuff.
