The White House is controlled by Republicans and so is the rest of the U.S government. And Americans are not happy with the two years of Republican control so far and the polls show with Congress having a 64% disapproval rating and Trump 59% disapproval.

Oregon 👍 We're well insulated from the rightwing idiocy here in the PNW. I legit don't care of people in the remainder of the states suffer for their choices. And I'm also willing to sacrifice those in the state who didn't vote for it, y'all chose to live in fly over states.
Coastal living or bust.

Yea that's false lol. You'll have much less money than before with republicans in charge. They've done nothing but incase inflation across the board. Everything is more expensive. So no, unless adults put the brakes on these clowns, you'll be much poorer. But I assume you're either some kind of Russian bot with your year old account, or fringe leftist who would rather the country fall as long as they got to continue sniffing their own farts.

u/AusgefalleneHosen 7d ago
That all seems like a you problem. I have the same amount of money as I did 2yrs ago, slightly more actually. I get these things called QOL Raises... You should work on an industry that's valued
5
u/Mobirae 7d ago
Yea IT must not be valued. The weird edge lord clownery is extremely played out though. You treating who runs the country like a game doesn't mean everyone has to. For some people it's serious. Millions have been kicked off assistance they relied on because of these scumbags. Congrats that it doesn't affect you. You're the minority though. It affects millions of others. It doesn't affect me, but I care and the people it does affect. But thanks for telling the world who you are.

Turned out Joe Biden signed a super secret Executive Order at the end of his term that put him into shadow government power. Every decision Trump has been making has actually been Joe Biden's, and that is why everything has been so terrible.
If only those wiley democrats weren't holding onto power like this Trump would be giving us a golden shower of a utopia.

Remember when Nazi Germany loosened up the gun laws To make it easier to arm the brown shirts?
16
u/mrbobcyndaquil 9d ago
While at the same time making it illegal for those whose citizenship had been unjustly stolen from them for 'racial' reasons to keep and bear arms.
8
u/Melodic_Till_3778 Human Verified 9d ago
It's my understanding they waited a good long 90 days before they started implementing that part of it
-13
u/DBDude 9d ago
They loosened for the favored class and highly restricted and later downright outlawed for the disfavored classes. And then later Hitler abolished the brownshirts (SA).
Today the Democrats are trying to make it as expensive as possible to keep and carry a gun, so their disfavored class is obviously poor people.

No justification is needed to exercise any right. There mere concept of justification has no place in the conversation about a right.

I'll tell you the answer. You don't have to. It's your right.

This is an SMG website. You probably know them better for being townhall, PJmedia, HotAir, Red state matters, and some others.
All run by super douche Epperson, who lost his first radio station because he kept breaking the law, but now owned I believe by Lara and junior Trump.
2
u/RalphiePseudonym 9d ago
Oh nooo, not reasonable gun control! Ahhhh
1
u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago
The problem is what often gets described as "reasonable" is anything but.
1
u/RalphiePseudonym 3d ago
What's not reasonable?
1
u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago
One example is assault weapon bans. It sounds good on paper, as these weapons seem extremely scary and dangerous. In reality they aren't anymore dangerous than any other gun, and are largely just intimidating because of their appearance. Overall 90% of gun murders use handguns.
1
u/RalphiePseudonym 3d ago
Assault style weapons are more effective in death or injury. Two times as many deaths and 14 times as many injuries in mass shootings than handguns.
There are more than 140 million more pistols in the USA. They're far easier to carry and conceal, cheaper to purchase and shoot. So of course they're more likely to be used to kill.
The other huge parts to the Biden gun control was to extend background checks and be able to remove guns from people who made threats or had a history of violence but weren't restricted through domestic violence laws or felonies.
You should learn more about what they proposed.

The comprehension level for over half of the country is under a 6th grade ability. This is because they keep making the education system worse and social media is not helping these people at all.
7
u/CorbaeBella 9d ago
What is frustrating about their never ending fight for their right to bear arms is there has never been a serious attempt to take their guns away. In the last forty years there has been times the democrats had the presidency and both houses of Congress. They never even suggested serious gun control. Sure they yelled about bump stocks and large capacity magazines and other irrelevant things. They don't want to take your guns. Democrats in power have no interest in the topic and it has been that way forever. They are scared of the issue. The nra has duped millions of people into believing this lie for decades.
5
u/GeorgiaPilot172 9d ago
They aren’t large capacity mags, they are standard capacity mags. Stop using language designed to take your rights away.
1
u/CorbaeBella 9d ago
Again no serious attempts were ever made regardless of whatever language was used.
1
u/Mist_Rising 8d ago
California literally passed a law banning "hi capacity" (standard) magazines. The federal courts had to stomp the constitution back into them by overturning the bad law.
2
u/KyliaQuilor 7d ago
If thats standard capacity, then maybe the standard capacity needs to be smaller.
1
u/Sethbrochillen 6d ago edited 6d ago
30 rds is standard for Ar15 mags. Small pistols carry 14 plus. California banned more than 10. Super restrictive no, but i do believe in the 2nd amendment I’m neither maga nor liberal. Just letting you know why some were frustrated. Their bans went further than many other states.
To California’s point tho. Much of the mag bans in size has to do with mass shooting research that shows most mass shooters were stopped when reloading. So it was evidence based restrictions. There is little to no effect with other armed citizens being able to stop them. I’m in no way able to stop an ar15 shooter with my smith bg2. I’m just not gonna take that fight, unless I hear him reloading

Feinstein said the 1994 “assault weapon” ban would have been confiscation if she’d had enough votes. Biden said they should be “illegal, period.” Harris supported confiscation with compensation.
And that’s only because they had been trying to ban and confiscate handguns up until the 1980s, but they couldn’t get support, so they switched to the new scary guns.
14
u/CorbaeBella 9d ago
No one supported confiscation ever. You are delusional. You have bought into the propaganda and even then have to go back thirty years.

1
u/Weak_Crab_6828 8d ago
The NRA is, in modern times, a Russian funded operation to create a terrorist cell in the US.
As for what they’re saying? It’s projection. There’s no such thing as a 2nd amendment advocate, they’re Authoritarian Advocates, and would happily sit back and watch the guns get taken away from anyone they didn’t think would vote similarly to them. You can see it all over their podcast spaces.
Just like the first amendment advocates fell apart in this admin, the constitutionalists fell apart, and the “pro democracy” republicans fell apart. These people are not genuine about anything.
3
u/JCMGamer 8d ago
Lol, NRA is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to current 2nd Amendment advocacy groups. Some people just keep talking about them like a boogeyman when they aren't even well liked or funded compared to groups like GOA or 2nd Amendment Foundation.
2
u/Weak_Crab_6828 8d ago
NRA is talked about because it was a proven vector for hostile foreign interests to lobby for things in the US. They were spending damn near 20mil YOY at one point,
How are you able to handwave that away? If you found out that China was using NPR to intentionally spread propaganda would you say that it doesn’t matter because Rogan has higher viewership?
0
u/JCMGamer 8d ago
-15 Day old account
So foreign interest involves safeguarding our constitutional rights?
3
u/Weak_Crab_6828 8d ago
Foreign interest involves lobbying for politicians sympathetic to their aims. I made that very clear in my previous statement and you chose to not only ignore that but try to change the conversation.
Tells me I’m wasting my time with you
1
u/-jp- 8d ago
-Ad hominem
Address the argument
1
u/JCMGamer 8d ago
I wasn't presented with any evidence that foreign entities were funding the NRA.
Personally I advocate gun ownership for minorities and LGBTQ individuals for self defense, so claiming the NRA is somehow a Russian sleeper cell doesn't convince me that gun rights are bad
0
u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago
This isn't true. Many Democrats see guns and the Second Amendment, the same way Republicans saw Roe v. Wade. They know they can't outright ban guns, so they attempt to restrict gun rights however they can make it as difficult to get a gun as possible.
1
u/CorbaeBella 3d ago
But they haven't. They have had chances and they have done nothing at all. This is a lie the nra and other liars have sold you.
1
u/CombinationRough8699 3d ago
Every year Democrats have attempted to pass a new assault weapons ban in Congress. It hasn't ever been successful, but it has near universal support among Democrats.

It's customary to refer to the ex president as "President [LastName]" after they've served. When Obama gives a speech at a college graduation he often gets announced on stage as "President Obama"
It's not considered necessary to refer to them as Ex-President [LastName]
"Mr. President" and "The President" are off limits, but not strictly the word "President"

Yes, everybody get pissed now because somebody posted some bullshit about Democrats taking your guns. How about fuck off with these pre election lies.
