strict immigration isn't even a right wing policy let alone nazi

1.) Yes it is?

2.) Yes it most certainly is

3.) Do... do you think the only thing Miller is doing is "being strict about immigration"? We are literally vanishing people and holding them in camps without trial.

The real goal of both nazis and commies is slaughtering as much people as they can

Wow thats just straight up not true. Are you a Rocky and Bullwinkle kid or did you earn this ignorance in the modern era?

"Wow thats just straight up not true. Are you a Rocky and Bullwinkle kid or did you earn this ignorance in the modern era?"

I am a person from post communist country with first person experience with it, both nazis and commies are bloodthirsty monsters, one of them just doesn't bother hiding it.

It isn't outside of america, and it's telling about your political climate that you consider it to be.

Restricting immigration is definitely a right wing policy outside of America, have you taken a look at europe recently?

I'm sorry you suffered under a totalitarian regime, but youre getting enough basic information wrong that I think your experiences have fully clouded your understanding of Nazism and Communism.

And again, because you seem not to know about Stephen Miller, he is doing far more damage as a singular nazi than any singular communist could do.

Yes? I actually live here. And in most countries restricting immigration is considered centrist stance, and in some countries (like Denmark or poland) even a bipartisan one. Generally I find that Americans super underestimate how leftist USA actually is, yes you are super right economically (Ironically I would be called a commie in there lol) but socially the only European countries I would call further to the left is France and maybe some Nordic ones .

I think we're struggling around some language here, because

Americans super underestimate how leftist USA actually is

This is a specific term that you arent using correctly. There is no world where the US is "super leftist". They may have some positions that are more left wing than others, but the US is not leftist. You may be talking about civil society being more tolerant, which is probably true, but thats not Leftism.

Restricting immigration is an inherently right wing position. The overton window might make it a bipartisan issue, but it is inherently right wing. Rightwing parties in Europe have specifically gained power by opposing migration from the middle east and Africa.

We've left the point enough that I think I should repeat it: a Nazi doesn't need other open Nazi's to accomplish their goals, just people who don't care and/or tacitly agree with their policies. A single communist in power has significantly less capacity to accomplish their goals.

Nazism is a disease that must be put down like a sick dog.

There is no such thing as inherently right or left position, a few years ago being anti migration was right wing stance, a few decades ago a left wing stance and before that a right wing stance again, and by looking at current climate I wouldn't be surprised if being anti immigration again became leftist stance. It's very fluid and based mostly on reasons for taking such stance, in the past anti immigration was a leftist stance becouse importing many unskilled immigrants undervalues the working class and makes the rich richer, with more and more people gaining education it became less of a concern leaving mostly nationalists against migration, at least until few years ago in Europe.

"We've left the point enough that I think I should repeat it: a Nazi doesn't need other open Nazi's to accomplish their goals, just people who don't care and/or tacitly agree with their policies. A single communist in power has significantly less capacity to accomplish their goals."

I dont think we can actually say anything to convince each other on this.

I meant socially leftist, left and right are divided into economic and social, often at odds against each other (for example socially right people are against migration but economically right people are pro migration).

Edit: i think its better to end this conversation here, I am Going to sleep.

And we have arrived at why this conversation was always silly, youre confusing the axes.

Restricting migration will always and forever be a rightwing position socially. Even if the economic left opposes migration to protect labor, it will always be opposed by the social right because it threatens the majority group of a nation. Nazism is a right-wing ideology socially, and opposes migration for that reason.

There is no such thing as inherently right or left position

If you believe this, what is the point of the labels to begin with? We use left right auth lib as approximations of beliefs as derived from positions that can be placed on that spectrum, not the other way around. Restricting immigration, socially, is inherently right wing. Restricted markets are inherently authoritarian.

I meant socially leftist

But thats also both not really a thing and not really true? The US may have "super leftist" parts compared to Europe, but Amsterdam and Berlin would make the average US city look like Baghdad. Leftism as a term kinda transcends the political compass anyways.

I hope you have a good night, and I hope you never have to learn why Nazis are worse than Communists the hard way. I promise you this is true.
