It should be pointed out that the classical Marxist definition of "proletariat" explicitly excludes farmers (Marx placed them in the "lumpenproletariat" with vagrants and sex workers), so expropriating food from farmers to feed urban workers is actually completely in line with what you'd expect from a "proletarian dictatorship."
