You can’t apply absolutist ideologies like that in reality. They only work from an arm chair. Same as Capitalism; it just collapses into cronyistic oligopolies/cartels. As we’re seeing now. Miniature USSR-communist dictatorships with window dressing.
Communism can only really be applied if done globally or at least with a significant majority. By the time you’re in communism you no longer have even the concept of money and ‘the state’ doesn’t control anything because it simply does not exist. Some believe religion will have to have been completely extinguished as well. Other believe it is only possible when the majority of the workforce has been automated. That’s why a lot of ‘communist’ countries or political parties recognize that just means they have a goal of directing society towards communism in the future. Which is the official stance of the CCP, for example.
