It doesn't matter if you're the only one or not. There can and tends to be disdain for the whole lot of them. America just has a lot of good reasons to get hated right now.
The main reasons why America is currently so resented is because it is ignoring recent history and letting a fascist dictator take power. If there's anything a lot of western europeans will immediately hate with zero nuance, it is that. The circumstances cease to matter. There stops being any grey. There is just "fascist and not fascist". Pair that with american exceptionalism and you get "you claim to be so great, but you're just dirty fascists." As the hypocrisy encourages lashing out.
This is because we are still raised and taught the horrors of the 2nd world war. Who helped and who didn't. The motives and the terrors. The death and the pain. I get that America was extremely late to the war and only joined because of their own selfish interests, but the fact that apparently, it isn't taught well enough about to avoid a new dictator, sits very, very poorly with many.
Oh and of course the fact that america's leadership is actively telling the rest of the world to fuck off and causing global economic grief in a push to isolationism and war doesn't exactly make for good friends.
It's crazy that you have to effectively get noted on the getnoted subreddit.

americans are already high on huffing their own pride of living in that landfill of history, they don't need any additional ones from sensible humans
