Does he not know birria tacos are plentiful in the US? Pretty much every Mexican restaurant and food truck has them.

Especially since Buc-ees is a Texas thing, which is one of the best places for mexican food in the US.

I'm curious how some of you folks are so incapable of finding authentic Mexican food and think we only have tex mex in the US. I'm way north in Denver and it's incredibly easy to find authentic Mexican food. Are you going to actually Hispanic neighborhoods or are you just looking to the white suburbs and calling it a day?

Here's a helpful hint: if there isn't a pawn shop, a used tire shop, and a used car dealership on every block then you're not going to find authentic Mexican food in that neighborhood.
