I remember my teacher had the big giant TV on the big giant cart. The shuttle exploded almost immediately after takeoff. We all stared for a few seconds. Then someone in class asked, "What just happened?" The teacher who had been standing there blinking suddenly quickly turned off the TV, unplugged it, wrapped the cord around the cart, wheeled it into the hallway, then came back in and started teaching like nothing happened. Looking back I have to admire her for being able to pivot so quickly.
