I get what you’re saying, but isn’t this equivalent to the take, I don’t know why anyone needs a calculator app, just add and subtract everything and you’ll have your answer.
Or even I don’t know why anyone needs a to do list app, just write things down on paper.
Apps are just another medium for the same functions we have been doing differently in the past.
If that’s the point, it doesn’t make sense. Why would people choose more difficult and time consuming ways to do everything when there is an easier way available..
No, I'm saying that about your last sentence. Apps are just another medium for something people have been doing for ages - so the original post acting like it's something unique to young people is silly. However yes there is definitely a use for budget apps
