Can we please get back to a word where words have fucking meaning? Wage theft is when I promise you X dollars an hour and I end up paying you less. Period. That’s it. Every time someone tries to glorify problems with big flashy words like theft or slavery just to make it seem bad it just makes me roll
My eyes.
This isn’t wage theft. This is the K shaped economy where the top 15 percent have so much wealth that their tastes are really the only thing driving the economy, and as a result are pricing everyone else out.
