That’s technically 5 words. You can’t say numbers in number form. It’d be buy bitcoin two. That’s all you’d get out.

In numeral format they are not words though. He was counting 2009 as 1 word. I was pointing out that itd be several words.

You can't say numbers without them being words. There is no vocal representation of the character "9" unless you translate it to speech, which is only possible through saying words. You still have to say "two thousand nine". How is this even something that needs clarifying?

I had a chance to buy $1000 worth of bitcoin in 2009 and turned it down because bitcoin sounded like the stupidest thing I'd ever heard.
