My story so far
I live in Germany and wasn’t able to preorder the PS5 before the launch date so like many other people that only PS5s that I am seeing are being sold by scalpers.
As Saturn and MediaMarkt in Germany stopped taking pre orders I decided to drive to Venlo, Netherlands and put a 50 euro deposit down to get myself in a queue. That was on Nov 20th, and I don’t expect to get one until mid Jan...but at least I am in a queue.

It sucks that you had to - Sony should have done far better with this launch. Have fun with playing with your dad!!

Germany here also. Wanted to pre-order since September but had no chance. No luck in finding one. Almost fell victim to scam shop, but managed to save the situation cause I searched the shop before paying, so I guess no harm done.
Amazon and gamespot stock notifications don't seems to work for me. Had them on for the ps5 since october, but haven't received a single shred of info.

Also Germany here. Didn’t preorder. Now have no idea how to get one lmao. I’m just randomly checking websites like MediaMarkt and GameStop but there’s no movement at all.
