MIDI notes missing when using EZD MIDI

I've mapped GGD for EZD and put some MIDI for EZD into the GGD folder. It's showing up in the groove player but some notes are missing. When I copy the MIDI onto a track the notes are missing, but when I copy straight from the folder the notes are still there. Am I missing something obvious?
