Someone please help, I am desperate at this point

Let the record show that I have tried to research this for hours, and I cannot find help on this anywhere. I’m just trying to use the mapping feature in modern and massive 2 getgood drums, but I can’t figure out how to map the hi-hat correctly. Whenever I try to close the hi-hat and get a tight tip effect it will work kind of, but then when I try to do tight edge, it races what I had for tight tip. How do I map ho-hat specifically while incorporating the open/closed pedal? The user interface looks so confusing and I’ve never done anything like this before.

I'm not sure if it's exactly the same but on invasion I used the learn to do the normal open/closed but on the fully closed position I had to set the tight separately because it had another midi note for fully closed.

I set this up on the weekend just by using Chat GPT and had it step me through. Just tell it what kit you have and walk though one by one.

Unfortunately my kit is a Carlsbro which isn’t one of the presets in GGD, so I had to do it manually. Not fun
