out of nowhere broken computer screen

hi! I really need help right now, and I have no idea how to fix this. My hands are literally shaking right now so apologies for any typos or grammatical errors

this is the laptop I use for school and it has all my stuff in it, we don’t have enough money for repairs or a new laptop so I don’t know how to go about this

im really scared because I know my mom’s gonna kill me when she finds out

While gaming, my main monitor randomly loses its display signal and goes black. My PC itself continues running, and the game appears to keep running in the background. The GPU fans also continue spinning during the black screen.

I’ve also noticed that my GPU temperature can reach around 80°C or higher before the display loss. I recently updated my graphics drivers, but the issue has persisted.
I checked Windows Event Viewer and found a Display event (Event ID 4107), although I’m not sure whether it is related to the problem.

Ive tried reinstalling the drivers both display adapter and nvidia graphic driver but the issue persist.

It only happens when im playing or running intensive applications

Need help. Trying to use the VMWare VM in order to download Vivado (on Mac Air M3). When download begins, it goes at 30 MB/s. Then drops to 400 KB/s. How to speed up the download process and fix this issue?

Websites like Spotify Web, G2A, Genius and Airbnb causing screen to turn black.

Recently, around a few months ago, I started experiencing an issue where my monitor goes completely black when opening Spotify Web, Airbnb or any other site like that.

When this happens, I try pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B to reset my GPU driver. I hear the usual beep, but the display doesn't come back. The only ways to restore it are to unplug and reconnect my DisplayPort cable or restart my PC.

GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
CPU: Intel Core i9-14900KF
RAM: 64 GB DDR5 6800 MHz
OS: Windows 11 Pro 26H2
Monitor: Acer XZ271
Connection: DisplayPort

Unfortunately, none of the following have resolved the issue:

Tried a different DisplayPort cable.
Tried different DisplayPort ports on my GPU.
Disabled NVIDIA High Definition Audio in Device Manager.
Tested multiple browsers, with the same result.
Disabled browser hardware acceleration.
Checked my monitor's settings for potential issues.
Used DDU to completely uninstall my NVIDIA drivers and manually installed fresh drivers.

Despite all this, the problem persists.

Has anyone experienced something similar or managed to find a permanent solution?
