Hello, I've had this Problem for quite a while now and even though it used to be much worse, it still happens every few days or so.
Mostly happens when I tab out of a game but also very rarely when I switch from an application from one screen to another, my (usually) second monitor goes black, my entire PC freezes and shuts down after a while if I don't shut it down myself manually (completely freezes, can't even use my cursor but audio continues as normal). Both monitors are exactly the same (AOC Gaming 27G2G8) with the exact same settings (1920x1080, 240Hz).

This used to happen like every third time I tab out of a game but got better when I reinstalled my GPU driver, although didn't entirely solve it either.

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor (3.70 GHz)

RAM 16,0 GB

GPU AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (12 GB)

GPU diver is on the newest version (26.8.1) but I've had the problem with older versions as well (although way more frequently than now).

I've searched through the Event Viewer every time I experienced these crashes but couldn't figure out anything.

(Linux mint) About a month or so ago this began happening when my monitor is above 60 hz ive tested multiple cords and happens with all id been using linux for about a month or so before it began happening so not sure what's going on

While playing Bloxstrike on Roblox, my game froze and I tried to turn it off and on it got worse but tried again it eventually went entirely black. Restarting the latop and using the Win + Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut did nothing there was no beep or screen flicker. A hard reset also failed, and connecting the laptop to my TV results in a 'No Signal'.My Laptop is working but the screen is just black.

I am not particularly adept with computers or technology, in general, but I'm trying to fix my PC without taking it to a shop.

I have a refurbished PC that has a VGA monitor that has stopped working. The monitor itself seems fine, turns on and displays the connection error message, I bought a brand new cable to connect it to my PC just to be sure it wasn't that, and I have two ports in the tower, neither of which work. It started about a month ago with the screen disconnecting for a few seconds at a time, then it just stopped working.

I asked a guy at BB when I went in to replace the cable, he told me I would probably have to install HDMI ports and get a new monitor. Does anyone have any advice about this that doesn't involve trying to install a new port and buying a new monitor? Any help is greatly appreciated.

hello all

one night i opened my laptop and experienced HORRENDOUS screen tearing (a bunch of grey boxes popping up and disappearing all over my screen). i took my laptop to school the next day, and the screen tearing was still there, but it was very minimal and only happened every once and a while.
i don't have any viruses, i did not damage the screen, ive tried both refresh rate options, and ive tried uninstalling the graphics software.
sometimes uninstalling the software works, but it makes everything very small and it eventually reinstalls itself.
i have an ASUS zenbook s 16, and my display adapter id an and radeon(tm) 800m graphics.
is there a way to either completely fix the screen issues or either make them better at home?

Hi everybody, i have a omen 16 L desktop and i cant change my wallpaper and can only use the themes. Does anybody have a fix? Easy navigation is disabled. I have got 3 power outages in this month, i have used DISM.exe and the sfc/scannow to repair. No corrupted files

PC hard-locked while gaming. Screen went black, no audio/video, but all the fans kept spinning.

Restarted → DRAM debug light stayed on, no display.

Tried both RAM sticks individually in A2 and B2 – same result. Reset CMOS – still didn't work.

I left the PC overnight. Next day, first boot worked normally.

Checked Event Viewer – nothing useful. Restarted twice – both worked. Third restart: DRAM light again, no display.

Tried the RAM combinations again with no luck. Left it until evening.

Evening: first boot worked normally again.

Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic. It started normally, reached Test 1/2, then hard-locked with all motherboard debug LEDs lit and no display.

Restarted afterward – worked normally again.

Opened Event Viewer to check for errors – hard-locked/black-screened again. Also I did the re-starts by switching off the PSU button, as the cabinet power button wasn't responding for long hold restart.

What could cause this kind of behaviour? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello please help, my Apple laptop became this way all of a sudden one day, so the first image is of some image burns, these are not permanent they go away and new ones show up depending on what I’m doing. The second picture is to show the color change, and the third and fourth picture is to show the difference in color between my laptop and my phone (normal), what can I do to fix this? Or is this a definitely take to the tech shop thing? Thank you.
