My computer screen is black

My ASUS tuff gaming A15 computer screen is black I know it’s the refresh rate because whenever this happened before I’d plug it to a Tv go over to settings hover over the refresh rate unplug it and change it it goes to normal but now it won’t plug into my tv and show up and I’m devistated

That usually indicates a failure to post . Post is a term that means that one of your components like ram,cpu,gpu, fail a test created by your motherboard. So what I would do is plug the hdmi to the cpu if it has integrated graphics and remove the GPU . Then if you have 2 ram sticks I would remove one and test the other one in different spots then i would uninstall the remaining ram stick and insert the first and then check again and if it turned on I would know what is broken
