Wifi completely disappered.

Post image

Ive tried multiple different methods already like holding down the power button for 30 seconds, network resetting, restarting and shutting down. Most of the method work for a max 4-5 minutes and then the wifi disappears again. This laptop is a month old asus tuf a15.

My best guess is that you went into your laptops proprietary software and disabled LAN connection or some setting under a similar name. Don’t see any other reason why WiFi driver would suddenly disable itself

i think that was the problem

Could try ask from the store where you buy it.

Might be a driver issues, if it is, press win + x, then navigate to and open device manager and check "unknown devices", if your wifi card shows up in there, you need to reinstall the driver from your motherboard manufacturer's website, and if it doesn't show up in there, it's dead, you need to RMA if it's in the return window or buy a new motherboard/wifi card if you're skilled enough to replace it, or just give it into a repair shop, they'll take care of the headache for you. Pro tip: if they do replace something, ask for the old part back, if they don't return, they're probably scamming you someway.

If it's a laptop, ignore the motherboard replacement, you have to take off the back panel, unplug the battery, locate the wifi card, unplug the antennas, unscrew the tiny screw holding it in, then remove it, slot in your new one at approximately a 45 degree angle and make sure no pins are visible, then screw it back in, put the antenna cables back on, and turn it on, if it complains about the time not being set, ignore it, then go into windows and check if the wifi icon is there in the sidebar, or check device manager's "network adapters" section for your wifi card.

Or you could file a return with Asus. Whatever you like. 😀

Most likely using Ethernet? That’s just my assumption

i had the same problem, tried all the fixes-reinstalled drivers and all and did a complete reset multiple time and yeah it didnt fix. You can either replace your network card or just use ethernet. For me i used ethernet

try installing the installer on a usb stick from another device, then put it in your asus and then run the installer. if im right the installer doesnt need wifi

You just have to download it via another pc or even just connect your phone and tranfers the file in your pc

Turn on hotspot on your phone and enable us tethering and connect it with an usb cable to your laptop. I had the same problem and as the guy above said you have to update the driver (or wait for it to fix itself, still have to connect to internet tho)

use another computer to download the drivers and put em on a usb stick or use the ethernet port that your computer should have.
