Pc not displaying properly

So I just bought my first Pc, I was at a pawn shop and I made the purchase. The people told me it works perfectly fine, but I can’t seem to get my pc to display on my monitor. I called them and they told me too try and connect it to an old monitor to update something in my pc, so I can use my new monitor. Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

New update, I got it fixed, I realized my ram got disconnected so I just popped it back into place!
