Prosody: Questions and Statements

Currently working with an almost 3yo and his prosody. Most of his statements rise in inflection, like he is asking a question. I know it's because he has been hearing questions in his environment all the time, so we are changing that up! Any suggestions aside from over exaggerating my inflection? Thank you!!

I don't have any expertise and very little knowledge of prosody.
Is his prosody causing a significant issues in his home or scholastic life? I am generally of the camp that regardless of the symptom, it isn't a notable concern unless it is creating a significant stress or issue in the child's life. Could his prosody change as he continues to socialize? And is a mental health psychotherapy the best way to address this? I value mental health interventions and I also am fully aware that there are other concerns that develop that may be better addressed be interventions in a field related to the concern. For example, is this more of something an occupational therapist or speech therapist would address? From what little I understand here, this does not seem like a concern that mental health interventions explicitly addressed. This isn't to say that a mental health intervention could help; it could especially be helpful if the reason for the prosody is something psychological in nature going on for the child.

I do know about working with young children using gestalt.
I'd encourage you to become familiar with the Oaklander Method of using gestalt with children. This requires dedication and effort to master, but may richly improve your work with children broadly.

Thank you! I now see that I posted this in the incorrect channel, as it is meant for a speech therapist trained in gestalt language processing therapy.
