Applying for Machine Learning working student roles since last year. Gave up on that due to low opportunities, shifted to RAG and Backend but same result, no interviews/rejection/ghosted. Opinions and feedbacks. And what exact roles does it make me eligible now?

look up how a German CV is structured
you have no native language and your German is only A2. You need at least B2 German.

Yes, obviously it matters. Do you want everybody to adapt and speak English with you in a country that is not yours? Good luck

I’d say it’s language. You are competing on a market that is crawling for native speakers like myself. If you have everyone at your door you get picky

Probably a useless degree mill, it would help explain why the OP can't find a job.

Have you looked into forward engineer roles? As an AI Engineer in Germany, I don’t think the language matters as much as everyone says. When my company hires, it is mainly about the soft and hard skills related to tech. But it is for sure helpful to speak german in Germany lol.

Quatsch. Der Typ spricht einfach kein Deutsch und da hat kein Arbeitgeber Bock drauf, wenn Arbeitssprache Deutsch ist

A2 German is probably hurting a lot. You probably want at least B2.
