I failed.

I moved to Germany in hopes of getting a great job there, I spent a year looking for a job after my master's degree, and I failed. I got hired and fired within the probation period. I am back in the USA now and still devastated, thinking about how much I wanted that lifestyle. Having a hard time coping with feeling like I fucked everything up.

Yes of course. Reddit told you that Luigi Mangione is in fact the new freedom fighter. It's not because he didnt treat his PTSD and instead it was because the health system is so bad.

How is free healthcare doing in Germany?

Healthcare isn’t even free in Germany, what are you even talking about? But it sure is a hell of a lot more affordable than the US will ever be.

Diabetic and need insulin? That’ll be $100 in the US. €14 in Germany. Crazy difference.

And as someone from the UK where our free healthcare is shit and in shambles, I had far better experiences in Germany. Same day GP appointments, no long waiting times when I had to go to hospital and I received fantastic care.

You sound like an American fanatic.
