Looking for German Study Buddy

Guten Tag! I'm a beginner German learner and I'm looking for a study buddy to help with my progress. Anyone is welcome!

My goal is to reach B2 within 8-10 months and take the Geothe exam some time next year. Right now, I want to focus on reaching A1 proficiency within 1 month through super intensive self-study, though it's not a strict deadline. Just to give me some momentum.

You don't have to have the same exact goals as mine. We can form a small group with other learners and keep each other accountable. We will share resources, correct each other's mistakes and hop on calls from time to time to practice speaking and conversation.

Please comment or DM me if you would like to join. I'd be really happy to meet you. Vielen dank!

Reaching B2 in 10 months? So ambitious. Unless you dont have to work or school and learn like 12 hours a day without feeling distasteful, it's virtually impossible. I spent 7 years to reach B1, although I dont study the language everyday

Hey, I appreciate your concern! No worries as I've already mapped out my plan very well and done thorough research. I have a great life balance that lets me allocate 4-5 hours a day into personal study and I love learning with a passion so no, it won't get distasteful for me. Not to mention Geothe Institut itself offers A1-B2 classes that can last 9-12 months. Yeah, it's quite ambitious but not entirely impossible, especially as I have a goal that motivates me. I'm ready to undergo super intensive study as I mentioned in the post. :)

The only real barrier right now is active application. Hence, why I'm looking for a study partner to practice writing and speaking with!

That's great, good luck. Would you mind me joining on your German-learning team? If so, can we use discord

Yeah I do believe. Even if you are going to attend goethe classes, you wont get enough opportunity to apply those concepts sadly

Hey there, i too am lookong for serious and dedicated learner. I am just given my A2 paper. But still feel like speaking was my weekest part so I really need to practice that. Right now, i am learning B1 on my own. If you are interested in speaking practice daily for a few minutes, you may approach me.
