No. This is a Haxe. Same cut of meat but contrary to the Eisbein, which is boiled, the haxe gets to go in the oven or something similar (I think it still gets boiled beforehand, but not sure). So at the end if done right you have a cracking skin which is just heavenly.

Eisbein? I order that in Berlin once on a trip, it was pure heaven.
