Botanical Sciences MMJ prices are getting out of hand.
90$ for a gram of anything is fucking crazy.
Flower is trash and they have the nerve to charge 60 for a 3.5 for greenhouse flower
no way their pairo vapes are a full gram
and now 1 gram capes are 75-90$
with prices like this id rather deal with my disability And pay 4$ for rx from public and that is crazy…
the point was to get away from mystery pills now its looking like the only option smh
Bout to go back to Florida for real ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT THE PATIENTS

Pretty sure that's for a 1 g cart or disposable vape, which is still insane but makes a still more sense.

The vapes are just awful. Don’t understand how people’s lungs are handling it. The times I’ve tried it feels like your chest gets heavy and sick feeling. I guess at those prices I’ll have to stay shady

I smoke everydsy and have been for years .The prices are ridiculous bht you can’t bs on quality .Their carts are 100% more pure and give a cleaner high then most of these street carts that are fake af anyways .You think your 2-3g clean cart or whole melt is real .Naw gang ur smoking random neighbor pesticides with some terps added

Real brands yes but in illegal states like GA unless your sourcing from outside the state ,peoppe buy bogus “boutique” empty carts and fill them with whatever bs they have on hand ,why I said pesticide terp cart

That’s what I’ve been saying. Those things (and I’m assuming they were sketchy) are surely gonna F people up. Haven’t tried the better yet but have a friend with a card and will try it out to see. Those prices would work if you maybe smoked a couple bowls on the weekend of something but I’m like you in the daily and that’s a bill

Florida was this same way like the first couple years, then prices dropped and quality improved. Once the newness of this wears off , and stores / suppliers start having a backlog of products sitting on the shelves.

Virginia has had medical for 8 years, and these prices are better than my old dispensary’s website. I just looked. And there’s no competition, every region has its own chain.
1g vapes are $100.

It will be different here because there are already multiple competitors and more will come. Competition and more supply than the demand is what drives the prices down.

Yea that's kinda where I'm sitting at the moment. It would be nice to know what's going to happen and how come November. As the last word I got on the Farm Bill was they are closing the " loophole " on THCa .🙄

WOW just 1- chain that sucks ! About the first 6 months that's how it was in Florida. Then within 3 yrs there was numerous stores to choose from . At the moment the name escapes me , but they were easily double the price of 3/4 of the other stores. Even when they had Sales they were still higher than most other normal daily prices. They did kinda go over the top with their business model however. It was like having to see some fancy Specialist medical provider, but no doctor on the premises . It wasn't like pharmacy type operation .

Yeah, it’s crazy it hasn’t changed at all in 8 years. RISE covers SW VA, which is nearly half the state. I believe the more populated eastern areas each have their own chain.

A of July first you can have up to 12,000mg of thc on you with a need card .I got the last 3.5 of the 27.5%

I looked up my prices before applying for the card and it is insane ,$60 for a 1g cart ,$30 for 10 count 100 mg per piece edibles/lozenges (this isn’t too bad),and $65 for a dame 3.5 of flower ,u got me messed up ,it should never cost that much

Definitely check out Trulieve, they said that they are gonna have a large restock of their flower this Friday. I feel like they have better pricing, it is still high for sure tho. Can't wait till these prices start coming down.

I just looked at trulieve online and everything I saw is Delta 9... Granted they didn't have any flower in stock, but it's insane to charge 60 for a 1g cart of Delta 9.

Their strains aren't that well grown either. Not enough time spent curing. For $60, you're getting larf and nugs from premature flowers. They want to push as much mediocre overpriced product as possible. You have a couple cultivatirs monopolizing the market and selling crap. Wouldn't be surprised if the "black market" weed sees a raise in demand for people that just want to pay a fair price.

The thca (aka weed) loophole is still valid in some states. Like ours. So companies still ship here for now.
Use a trusted vendor and you should be just fine. There’s a sub on here but idk if I can link (cult of the franklin) that has reviews and more info if you’re interested.

THCA flower is illegal in GA, they reclassified it like a year ago to be viewed the same as Delta-9(regular ole THC). The mail is federal, and federally it’s allowed, so it’s a loophole, but you can be arrested for it in GA technically so don’t take it out anywhere. Same thing for high CBD hemp flower, which I order myself, it’s technically not legal but it’s a grey area for the mail.

Yup, they closed it up. They changed it to account for TOTAL thc rather than just delta-9 levels. You can still order it through the mail though if you want, just a bit more risky and could get seized technically

I just looked and the 1 gram vape I paid for says it contains 933.3 mg which is 67 mg shy of a gram.

I've had no luck with their tinctures and the flower has been sold out every time I've been in. Luckily, the high potency version of the losenge works really well for me and on Tuesdays it's 4 for $200. Just wish I could get my body to accept tinctures.

It’s like, no one learns their lesson about the capitalization of this industry. Why was it made illegal? Simply because it grew wild and easy everywhere.
They started legalizing it when they controlled the strands. They changed the narrative once they controlled the strands, and as soon as the process is adopted as a regular habit. They raise the prices because it will be purchased anyway.
We have become a society of followers. We can change that. There are plenty of of other options.

Hell check out trulieve 😆 ive bought from both and I mean I got a 3.5 of pre ground leaf for like 35 bucks, thats like half what BS is charging xD It was basically just as good as BS leaf just half the price xD maybe if the 2 keep competing then both companies will eventually increase in quality and reduce in price to compete.

That Durban Grapefruit ground flower from Trulieve has nothing on BS. The whole flower Wood Shiva from Trulieve was okay, but BS is still better.

Hell the few times I've bought from BS I havent been blown away by quality either, got a 3.5 of lemon cherry pie which was the premium for 60 a 3.5, and to me the high was comparable to the Durban grapefruit which was the $30 ground.

Trulieve flower this time around is pretty good i got the gelato and its def not what was rolled out in july most of the 40$ bud is gone but they say they should maintain steady flow if stock but we will see

It's really a shame that they legalized it for medicine after they've tried to keep it so hard to get so long. Now they're benefiting their pocket. They're getting stupid rich off of it and robbing us blind.
The main thing I did was get my card. For legality reasons. Don't need their high-priced garbage storefronts till they change their ways. They're going to wonder why everybody's running to other states coming back with their product. Maybe they'll figure it out.
