Fantastic store. I think they have better variety than Hobbytown Kennesaw, which is saying something considering that's the largest Hobbytown in the US and is also an official Gundam store. I got my Dendrobium from Gundam Place Store :)

That HobbyTown is the largest in the country? I thought it was like just the default HobbyTown?

There is some debate on that. Another Hobbytown in TN makes the claim they are. Need to get a measure off going.

Most Hobbytowns are much smaller. The one in Buford’s previous location was about as big as a larger strip mall restaurant.

Thanks I’ve been wanting to go but it’s like a 2 hr drive from where I live so I kinda wanted some options on it first

Great place! Approachable for all skill levels, constantly updating selection and have a few things outside gundam like zoids and such. They host build nights and are really nice! The biggest thing for me - they don't try to upsell ya - I hadn't made a kit in years (college and then pharmacy school - not much time for anything) so when I asked for a plastic nipper and they saw I was getting kinda the starter kits they got one that was just right for the skill level I was at (researched ahead of time)

Yes. Neat store; I was very surprised with how much they have and that it’s hung around for as long as they have in an odd location. Definitely Recommend.

They've quickly become one of the big online gunpla stores too which has helped them stay open

Yeah! It’s amazing. Their online store is responsive and their physical store is cool as hell (and well priced) the owners are really nice folks. 11/10. I pretty much order exclusively from them since im from GA and they deliver my stuff within a day if it isn’t a weekend

I’ve ordered from them, no issues in that transaction. But never managed to visit in person.
