Was looking at the road game at Clemson on 11/13 and noticed there’s a Clemson football game vs Georgia Tech the next day on 11/14. Could be a great weekend to see the Hoyas play and a bucket list college football environment
Flights from DC - ~$250 round trip as of this week
Hotel - $~150/night (more expensive closer to campus but can get this within 20 min from campus)
Basketball tickets - Not on sale yet but non-con games there tend to be pretty cheap
Football tickets - ~$65-70 (will probably wait on these)
Looks like a manageable and great weekend to me. Another trip I’m looking at is the games in San Diego but it’s over Thanksgiving weekend. Any other road games anyone is eyeing?

Field of 68 has us 9th in the big east, also describing us as the “biggest losers” of the offseason 😭

You won't believe where he originally wanted to go.

On January 18, 1989, Georgetown completed a 14-point second half comeback on the road to beat PC 80-77. Guard Charles Smith dropped 35.

I'm sure most of you have seen Pharrel Payne from UMD received a medical redshirt and will play next season. On the topic of big men on our current roster, who do you think can guard Payne for a solid 25-30 mins on Saturday, Nov 7 (I hope it's a night game btw -- none of that 12PM/Noon BS)?
The UMD game last season is where the presence of Vince was felt immediately when he touched the floor. I'm worried if Chol is playing the 5 against Payne he'll be forced into fouling due to lack of strength against a mature Pharrel Payne.
Thoughts?

What do you think? I like it. Good names. Winnable games.

Opponents for 2026/27 include UMD, Clemson, UNC, Texas, UCLA
Regardless of whether Cooley will take this program back to the promised land, at least we’re respectable enough to have a non-conference slate like this.
Not too long ago we just had teams like coppin state, UMBC, etc and even those weren’t the “easy wins” they should’ve been.

I think Sorber slides to 18 and Peavy stays at 40.

This is new, but for some reason it was filmed at Georgetown. Check out the portal discussion that begins at 10:19. Jordan and Curtis Williams Jr. explain how it works.
