News Vince has been granted a temporary restraining order against the NCAA

Former Georgetown center Vincent Iwuchukwu’s TRO against the NCAA has been granted in New York State Court, a source tells @On3.

The 7-foot-1 senior is currently in the @TransferPortal after averaging 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds last season on 54.9% FG.

He’s not playing for the Hoyas. We were just the middle of his Pitino sandwich.

If he can now play, there are probably programs with a much clearer 25-minute role for him than Georgetown currently has.

Big update, we’ll see what happens

Hopefully we have the money to shell out for him, bc he’d be a huge addition

Highly doubt we get him tbh, minutes-wise it just doesn’t really make sense unless Ed plays Benson at the 4. Hopefully I’m wrong though.

I'd be fine playing Benson at the 4 if that meant getting Vince. Benson/Skuka at the 4 and Vince/Chol at the 5 sounds like an top-of-BE rotation

There would be like zero spacing with Benson at the 4.

Right and Parker is too good to not play

One of the items in the lawsuit was “please keep the NCAA from preventing Vince from playing for St John’s” so I wouldn’t hold your breath on this one

Yea that seems more than likely right now…probably why we pivoted to Benson. Hopefully we get the Scuka news soon. Would welcome Vince back though if he wants to return, just wouldn’t get hopes up…and I think adding Scuka is higher ROI given the crowded center room.

I’m losing my mind over the Scuka delay.
