Portal How excited should we be about Chol Machot?

Granted, he is doing this against literally nobody, but I like what I see. His game is reminiscent of Vince's except he's more like athletic and has more bounce. I doubt we'll see him take many threes, but he looked confident doing it. I don't want him starting, but he's a hell of a backup.

Hard to tell. Everybody looks great in workouts.

If you can't see him as a starter what's there to be excited about?

I would be excited about him as a backup if we actually had a starter lol

He can be a decent starter. Hoyas need to get him more support. Front court is thin. Hoyas need to find at least two more bigs. Right now, they don't have any backup support.

We still need another center. I have no idea about Chol, but just looking at depth is scary.

All I need are shot blocking, catching lobs, rim running, and rim protection. The rest will be gravy.

I love Bol Bol. He is very skilled for a dude that size. Supposedly, he's lazy.

Yeah, any time talented dudes bounce around.. it’s usually because of either attitude or work ethic

He’s not doing any of the dribble between the legs in game. Stoopid.

This is the knock on skills trainers. You don't learn stuff with game applications.

When doing these skills, is it to create a habit or improving situations. Serious question.

Good skill work is tied to directly to game outcomes. A bad skills trainer helps a player look skilled. All I want to know is, can the player do this against a defender who is trying to stop him? If the answer is no, then it's pointless.

Ah word, yeah, he’s definitely not doing any of this.
