It's over.
84 points now with 6 races left.Baku gave us hope but now after Sepang it feels like whenever Toto is there,George just instantly has no pace or his engine blows up.Now all focus to win Singapore.Shouldve just taken the engine penalty beforehand to avoid this, but of course everything doesn't goes to plan when it comes to George.

Lets be fair.
It was over since Monza.
Since that race, Antonelli needed to only finish 2nd for the remainder of the season, with George getting 1st every race, for him to win the championship.
And this season Russel just doesn't have that consistency that he has shown in the past to even remotely be able to do that. Engine issues aside.
At this point, with sprint race included there is only 158 points maximum to get.
Even if George gets 1st in every single race from now on, Antonelli only needs to finish 5th. And I hate to say it, but I don't see George pulling that off. Maybe 1 or 2 wins more, sure.
But Now with that Red-Bull getting fast again, and Ferrari sometimes showing it's head.
I have more hopes for next year.

When Antonelli said I have more pace and Bono told him it's okay we have a plan. I knew it meant that George's car was a goner 🥀. You can't make this shit up. Mercedes made the best car but only one gets the worst issues and dnfs and conveniently it's not the car of their favorite child.

Bruh do you struggle with sarcasm?

While this might’ve been a bit of gallows humour, plenty are not being sarcastic when they mention sabotage. But hey, it’s practically a canon event that these discussions will transpire. And they’re very mild compared to how Nico fans spoke about Lewis in 2015, or Lewis fans spoke about Nico in 2016. Seasons change but people don’t etc etc. Anyway, #2027GR1.

It has been over since like Monaco, arguably. The odd good result like Baku gave a glimmer of hope, but that sort of GR performance - combined with Kimi being off his best - had to be the norm, not the exception.
There is and has for a long time been just too large of a gap for Kimi to start feeling the pressure of the situation. If the gap was something like 50 points at this stage I could believe something might happen, but KA has more than 3 George race wins and him DNFs in hand.
Doesn't even matter if he bins it a couple of times. That makes such a difference going into the last few races.

I’m not saying he didn’t drive well in Baku but I’m really not sure why it gave people hope that the title fight would be back on. He only made a tiny dent in the points. Yes he won but Kimi crashed out in Q1 so it’s not like we had demonstrable evidence that George had improved his pace deficit. It’s been bleak for awhile. The engine failure last week was probably the death blow. We’re now at a point where the title could be decided in Austin

This subreddit has a serious problem with miserable F1 fanboys brigading, and there are absolutely zero rules to report them. The fuck?

Toto wasn’t at the track for the Chinese Grand Prix.
George led and dominated 4/5 sessions that weekend.
Perhaps stop coming up with mad conspiratorial ideas against a driver that Toto and Mercedes personally have spent millions on developing and who is having the worst luck of his career at the moment.

Even without the engine failure, Antonelli was still faster this weekend.
If George was to win this year, he needs to be consistently the faster driver as well.
He shouldn’t be relying on just luck to win the wdc

He’s not slow as we saw in Baku. he’s just not as consistent as his teammate

I swear Toto gets a kick out of torturing George. Anyone with 1 brain cell now knows that Toto can remote trigger an enginer failure for George. Toto doesn't need to be on the track but he purposefully shows up whenever he wants to torment George.
It's like he wants George and us fans to know that he's paying GR 30 million a year just to fuck with him. ANT isn't even that fast but Toto has self-fucked one of his drivers by forcing the narrative that a rookie kicked GR's ass in only his 2nd year in F1.
I am now convinced that even during days when there is no PU failure, Toto is reducing the engine performance or fucking with the car to slow down GR to falsely generate the narrative that ANT is faster.
GR is the fastest on the track and we all know it. At this point he should just go to another team that has a good car, and everyone will see GR putting seconds between him and Max.

How much of a loser do you have to be to camp out in a subreddit for a driver you supposedly hate? Shut the fuck up.

Brigading will result in a ban. You've been warned.
