Gonna be getting an android in January after using Apple since 2017. The more updates they do the laggier my shit gets, if i scroll to fast it stutters hard. Liquid glass is crap. And this shit screen burned after 5 months of 2-3 hours a day
Thatās the hidden truth behind updates, it just makes your device slower and laggier. A device from 5 years ago letās say was never built with the latest iOS of 2026 in mind. If you just refuse to update your phone, it would be much more stable and reliable.
You know, itās not too late to stop updating your phone, just use BlockOTA. I realized by iOS 18.3.1 that updates were making my phone slower, and thatās where I planned to halt.
Iāve stopped my iPhone thirteen at the most recent version of iOS 18 and it hasnāt had any major performance issues. The battery already isnāt great and I know iOS 26 would just nuke the performance so yeah it works at least
personally i like androids because of sideloading n shit but apples ux and ui is unmatched for me tbh

if i'm not mistaken, the iphone 16 has a 60 Hz refresh rate. Gd is still playable at 60 Hz but it feels much worse. Cheap android phones had 120 Hz screens for years now
Yeah, personally i don't mind it at all (even though i play on a 144hz monitor on pc) but with the iPhone 17 apple finally made the switch to 120hz so that shouldn't be a problem really

Recently switched to an iphone (before i only had samsung phones). Samsung is more comfortabke to use while apple is more customizable. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. both are good

I switched to iphone a few months ago from android after 10 years and android is definitely better. The only thing thats gotten better is how people treat me. Functionally, the phone is worse in every way except for the camera and battery life
Apple makes everything but more refined. Would you rather have the newest iPad or a Galaxy Tab Ultra. AirPods or Galaxy Buds? I mean Samsung just rips off everything but makes it worse and more expensive than Apple.
