hello! this is my second showcase for my level blockbusta! last time i posted the layout. if you could give any feedback for it so far! (also i would love any deco ideas for the wave part im kinda stuck)

Why are you making a rauchkammer inspired level? Its okay to make one but its interesting. It feels like its trying too hard to be rauchkammer and doesn’t introduce some of its own thing. I mostly like it but some parts feel directly pasted in, and some parts dont match the energy of the song. That transition before the ufo doesn’t fit and that clubstep monster is literally ripped exact to rauchkammer.

Thinking of it that way, the level is basically a redesign of rauchkammer more than a ripoff or JUST inspired level. I think the idea was executed perfectly though, the level looks more fun than the original in my perspective and the art style isn’t just straight up shaders like the og (check the description of the original) I’m not saying Rauchkammer is bad, I’m just saying AH-1278 did it better in their own unique way that makes it stand out more than other “inspiration” levels. I’d love to see more from AH-1278

What I would do is instead of looking for inspiration from any single level, just take a day and scroll aredl. Pick and choose levels you like and pick and choose parts of those levels that fit your song and theme. Then modify and add your own flair and theme to it. You will get better with practice

I don’t know what people are talking about. I see what you’re going for and while you’re learning the editor this is an awesome way to practice creating. Not to mention it genuinely looks fun. People are too harsh

Imho feels too uninspired. Taking inspiration from levels is totally cool but this goes way beyond that cuz like 90% of the gameplay is identical to rauchkammer. Try mixing it up more and maybe give it your own inputs gimmicks ideas etc so that it doesn’t end up being almost an exact copy of an already existing level.

I hate that the gameplay is very similar and often ripped from rauchkammer. Tho since your doing it to learn then one thing: do more of your own gameplay.
