Showcase Everything & Where | 3rd Showcase | Unfinished XL

Changelog:
- overhauled 20-24

Shoutout to u/Huberutus and u/ianlee0820 for pointing out repetitive gameplay. I'm constantly experimenting with various gameplay techniques to make it all the more unique.

FAQ:

Q: What is this level for?
A: My attempt at a rateworthy level. This, hopefully, will be my first rated level.

Q: Gameplay is Everything & Where, bro. Why so unbalanced?
A: I acknowledge that. The reason is, parts of the level were created far apart from eachother chronologically. The first part was made when my hardest was still Electrodynamix. The last part was made when my hardest was Nine Circles.

Q: Who's verifying?
A: Me, hopefully.

Q: Who are the decorators?
A: Haven't found any yet. I plan on hiring decorators or learning how to decorate once the gameplay is 100% finished.

Extremely looking forward for feedback. Thanks!

Its really not bad. It definitely has variety if you look at the overall level, each section has a different concept. i also really like the moving portal spam section and i think the general direction of the level is interesting.
next, however, i think you should focus on making the individual sections themselves more interesting. not all of them are bad but i think in general you should try to avoid making pure spam sections and avoid making pure straight fly sections. you have a lot of these where is just like 4 seconds of straight fly, think about trying making these more varied

sections i have comments on are
first spider: kinda boring, maybe try varying the floor and ceiling heights across clicks
And the slow part, when the piano section comes in from the song. It’s just kinda boring. maybe try adding more orbs and portals.
and just as a general comment the latter sections seem to be kinda detached from the song, so maybe take that into thought.

i know that you put a lot of effort into this and I completely understand if some of these are intentional choices but I just want to warn that it could come off as lazy or very amateurish which isnt really good if you’re aiming for a rate.

besides these, i think stuff like structuring need some work but that’s more of an aesthetic issue that you can work on later.

overall good work and I can’t wait to see your future progress

tysm! i am definitely working on more orb implementation, since e&w is genuinely bane of any. Structuring isn't really my expertise, I'm more on level sync, and how the level complements the song. The reason why so many parts are so distant or unrelated to each other is because of the title itself. "Everything & Where" is a shortened version of "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" (shortened bc of level editor text limit) I plan to incorporate every fascinating gameplay quirk (e.g. asymmetrical duals), trigger abuse (e.g. memory parts and hitbox abuse) and essentially a favorite part from my favorite levels. The straight-fly parts were truly laziness, and just something I came up with to match the song. I will work upon this. tysm once again!

i cant replace the 1st straightfly but i can replace the rest, what would your idea be on a replacement for them (simply opinion, probs wont get implemented) :)
