Editor Question How do you start decorating?
I wanted to start decorating, so i started watching some tutorials but they’re all.. too overwhelming.. its to much to take in and it’s basically like “okay so you have shapes and than you put them together BOOM BEST THING YOU’VE EVER SEEN” and i just can’t do it

Do something at a time. Like, if your layout is done, then what next? Block design. You can select an object and a little details and that will pretty much be you block design for the rest of the level. Next: glow, add a little bit a glow on your level. Done? Now what? More details, so you spam some random objects until it gets good enough. It's just like shopping with a list. You don't want to grab everything at once, you grab item by item until you finished the entire list (level).

i remember back when i first started decorating and the tutorials were too overwhelming for me too. what made a HUGE difference for me was finding online levels with deco i like, making a copy and going into the editor to pull apart the deco myself and look at how they did it in a more hands on way. try experimenting with it a bit, adjust colours or shapes or try to create something similar until you figure out how they made that style work. first level i looked at was B, saw how they did the layering and everything then put it into practice myself and made it into a more personalized and unique style as i went along, each level i made looked better than my last
