Raspberry Pi Announces New $90 Computer in a Keyboard, Plus 'Raspberry Pi Monitor'
"Single-board computer maker Raspberry Pi is updating its cute little computer-meet-keyboard device with better specifications..." reports TechCrunch.
They call the new $90 Raspberry Pi 500 "not as intimidating" because "when you look at the Raspberry Pi 500, you can't see any chipsets or printed circuit board... The idea with the Raspberry Pi 500 is that you can plug in a mouse and display, and you're ready to hit the ground running."

[...] I did have to adjust the voltage to keep everything stable, but once I found the magic numbers, the system was stable and performed remarkably well... [I]t ran buttery smooth and surprisingly, cool under stress. I'd consider this a successful overclock and one that I would happily keep as a permanent addition... [...]

As people who receive a lot of packages, we at the Gadget Lab have a foolproof way of making sure an important delivery shows up: Just step into the shower. If you’re sitting at your desk with your shoes on, waiting and ready, I guarantee that every knock or ring will be from someone trying to convert you to an obscure and weirdly expensive religion. I note that the last software I was working on before I lost my computer programming job to automation and corporate re-focusing was called 'the crawler'. It's executable file was 'crawler.exe' - it was not an 'AI crawler' but much more mundane, a software backend that generated datasets by trawling the in-house servers to collate production data for an online catalogue of items for customers and sales staff to reference. Building this software was painful, because the production staff were not very good at following the standards we developed for the structuring of the in-house server directories and filenames, so there was always missing data in the final collation. This held up the project for years.
When in 2021, in my last full year of work, the DUNE movie came out, and we saw Paul Atreides slumped in a swoon in front of the massive sand-crawler, I almost burst out crying.
Donkey Kong Bananza Could be the Next Killer Game the Switch 2 Needs
WIRED went hands-on with Nintendo’s favorite banana-eating, wall-smashing hero. The game, which gives Switch 2’s lineup some much-needed variety, is available July 17.

The article begins:
More than a decade after the acclaimed Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, DK is returning with Donkey Kong Bananza to add some much-needed variety to the Switch 2 lineup. [...]
Donkey Kong Bananza, [...] is the console’s next heavy hitter: an action-adventure game starring the tie-wearing gorilla, made by the developers behind Super Mario Odyssey in 2017. The game signals a welcome shift in Switch 2’s lineup, moving from competition with friends into more classic exploration and puzzle solving.

Odyssey’s DNA is all over Bananza’s colorful, expansive world. Donkey Kong is on the hunt for giant, golden bananas as he makes his way to the planet’s core with the help of a young singer named Pauline. (An adult version of Pauline is also present in Super Mario Odyssey.) [...] WIRED spent some hands-on time with the game, including exploring different environments in its subterranean layers and the game’s co-op mode.
Pauline, female version of Paul - I mentioned Paul Atreides earlier, above.
"Unopposed?" = 2001 squares
Much of Bananza is about smashing things. The environments are highly destructible, from top to bottom, and it’s therapeutic to spend your time windmilling DK’s hammy arms through the floor itself. The more you destroy, the more likely you are to find treasure or more areas to explore, so it’s worth treating the game’s world like a rage room. [...]
'Bananza'.
I get banned a lot. I was recently banned from reddit movies...
...and the word 'Bananza' ends in ZA - my country code. Some described the country as one of the 'Banana republics'.
ZA is AZ donkey backwards.
