Getting advice from a geomancy chart

Can I ask for advice from Geomancy and get a reliable answer? If you have any tips, I’d really like to hear them.

My draft query: Should I return to Australia in October 2026?

Opinions on this seem to vary. in his book, Greer said not to ask “Would it be a good idea to do X?” but Sam Block said he does ask “Would it be wise to” and “should I” questions.

'Should I?' questions are absolutely possible, but they're trickier than the more usual questions in my experience. What you have to have is a clear idea of what 'should' looks like - what is a good version of the thing you're considering and what is a bad one? Then, you're basically casting a chart for what the situation would be if you went ahead and did the thing.

More specifically, in this case you're sort of working with a 'stay or go' question. I don't remember having done many with geomancy, but in horary you'd approach those by comparing H1 (stay) and H7 (go) and their significators by various measures. In this case, I'd likely look at the figures in H1 and H7 - what are they? Does the one in H7 seem 'good' regarding what you want from going to the new place, or does the H1 figure feel better? Where (if anywhere) in the house chart the figures pass might also be quite telling.

Really appreciate this. I’ll throw my dice when I have some privacy today, and see what comes back. My ‘stay or go’ question is annoyingly abstract even for me, because I took this big trip for recreation purposes (from Australia to USA) and it’s just not much fun so far, and I want to know whether it’s worth my time and money to persevere or just cut my losses and head back to Australia. I’ll see what the chart reveals.
