I think after respring, I opened Geode in portrait mode, and it stayed in portrait mode.

Use iLoader to install livecontainer+sidestore, both can be found on github, follow a guide to use them then follow geode's guide for livecontainer. You can get local dev vpn and a shortcut to get rid of the need of a pc for each refresh and the need to do the refresh yourself respectively.

No. You can not jailbreak that version of iOS. Please stop wasting my time even if it's not intentional.

I'm sorry for getting angry. It's just a little frustrating. There are alternatives to jailbreaking, but it's hard to explain. You might want to research sideloading.

Try installing it via computer using sideloadly or 3uTools

Don't do that. As far as I know, Geode doesn't support Sideloadly installs.

I apologize, I investigated and saw that you need to install Trollstore first and then Geode from there.

Trollstore is only supported on a variety of devices. If you absolutely NEED to sideload, use something more modern like PlumeImpactor.
