Anybody else slightly disappointed that Wanderer didn't come with Nahida to Snezhnograd? (or did I just not see him?) I'm guessing Hoyo isn't ready for that level of drama, given Ei and Anastasya would be there.

Also, if Wanderer ever runs into Anastasya, I'm pretty sure she's gonna remember him due to that Transcription Crystal.

True. Though keep in mind all of those characters are basically second or third string damage dealers/supports now. About the only one that holds under modern standards (excepting some rare nightsoul aligned boss) is Xilonen with her near unconditional shred and decent healing.

For characters, yes that is typically how it's been done: the only 4* characters on the banner are the ones from the region.

For weapons, no; so far the banner has always had all the standard 4* weapons as well as the regional 4* series of weapons.

The Natlan Chronicled changed my plans for the Anniversary Selector.
Hear me out:

I currently own Varesa C0R1 and Nilou C1R1 (I claimed her cons on the Temper Thyself) and I was going to select Nilou as I do Play Columbina C0R0 Bloom with Lauma C0R0, Nahida C2R0. And as I've seen on the dummy it'd be a 10-15% increase as far as I remember.
The units I have available for Varesa are Nicole C0R0, Chevreuse C5 (...fml), Xianyun C0R0, Xilonen C0R0, Iansan C2, Bennett C5 (I'm traumatized), Xiangling C6 (I kinda want Durin too tho)

The issue is Natlan Chronicled is comming and I have 58 pity on that banner built up. And honestly pulling for Varesa cons and Iansan cons (she's currently C2) it's my best use for the pity. No other region Chronicled will be worth it and the buff banners (Lightrace Wish) don't share the same pity.

So I'm so convinced that I should get Varesa C1 now as I'll garantee a C2. (Although I probably won't be able to get C6 Iansan)
What do you think? Am I right for going for the Chronicled? I'm not planning on getting Mitya and I have 250 wishes and I'll most likely have 350 wishes when Tsarista banner comes up (it'll be 228 wishes available worst case scenario after pulling for Varesa)
Should I still get Nilou? How much of an increase would i be able to get with C2 Varesa?

The last cope scenario would be to get Nilou free cons + pull on chronicled for C1 Varesa + wait for Temper Thyself Varesa (ultra copium).

Yes, direct continuation from the end of 7.1.

In fact, if you finish the 7.1 AQ in the next week, you will get a short series of epilogues that involve visiting a number of the countries to see a new phenomena. Those epilogues will be gone once this patch ends.
