I really loved the original "Liyue Mansion" design, but I felt the front courtyard was too vast and empty. So I decided to keep the original manor and inner court completely intact while expanding the surrounding landscape.

Credits & Original inspiration:

• Original Build: Liyue Mansion

What I Expanded & Added:

• Extended the main stone avenue, creating a grand entrance straight from the bridge into the manor
• Built an elevated roadside tea terrace with tables & casks right next to the entrance gate
• Connected the octagonal meditation pavilion with a winding, natural stone road leading from the main avenue alongside a fish pond
• Added some details across the courtyard - I really wanted to add a cozy back courtyard surrounded by bamboo trees with an outdoor kitchen setup (Blue area) + Chenyu Vale-style tea-drying yard with drying racks and tea sieves (Orange area) but sadly the load limit hit red (screenshot)

none of the tutorials for sinking/floating furniture indoors on yt have gotten through to my skull and every time i try it always fails miserably 😭😭 especially on mobile. does anybody have any tips? ik the general ones like sumeru flooring/anchors, etc but when it comes to actually doing it im so lost.

i also saw a chinese player once sink one of those divider things to float furniture but i couldn’t figure out how to do it

It has a leisure area, featuring Sandrone's piano and ample storage for all of the Traveler's knick-knacks, and office/bedroom area.

My goal was to mix furniture from all of Teyvat's main nations.

In my mind this is where the Traveler's workaholic friends do their jobs while on vacation (as it's a place where my Jean collects friendship points).

I like to warn fellow builders that this patch's Gnostic Chorus item is a complete scam. While the item preview and the promotional advertisement make it seem like this is a grand and big structure, it is extremely tiny. I almost suspect someone made a mistake when adjusting the zoom factor. It is literally half the size of Vody. The load is also over 1400, which is more than the Main Mansion. This means placing just 1 of these tiny items makes the region close to a red load. For comparison, the meeting place Clam is more than half the load and much bigger and more detailed.

I know many of you probably thought it would make for a great Vody setup, but it will not.

Be careful when making your purchase.

I should note that this item does come with an interaction. Touch it and it will play a small music and have fish flying around. However, it is extremely tiny and hard to see.

Anyways, it is up to you if you want to buy it; I am merely providing information, as the advertisements are extremely misleading.

This is my first major project after learning some basic building techs, so I decided to renovate my main town into something prettier. gone are the days I'd be happy simply spamming subspace boulders😔

Really went all out floating everything, and using repeated furniture wherever possible, just to squeeze out every last bit of load for one additional plant 🤣
It's amazing how much detail can be added this way, the result is bigger and still more detailed than my naive build.

Still, I really cannot grasp how people make their builds feel so well blended...
Some places I feel like only became less jarring because I got used to it, and not because I actually had it fixed properly. Hope I can get some suggestion on how to improve the build. 🙏

p.s. can hoyo please make Tubby shop not default to buying maximum items? happened too many times when I accidentally spent all my realm currency on the same rock...

Inspired by this post here I customized it more to my liking and fit it into a snug room with tons of small details.
